Our courses
Our English study courses are based in Leamington Spa. The intensity and structure of the programme is dictated by the client. All courses are available throughout the year. The programmes include tuition in all four-study skills; writing, reading, listening and speaking, but tend to focus on speaking and listening.
All programme costs include free study materials.
One to one courses (1 student 1 teacher)
One to one tuition offers individual attention whilst addressing specific needs and maximising learning experiences. It also individual attention producing faster and more effective progress. Fewer lessons are often required compared with group tuition. Students can study at their own speed and focus on their own personal language needs. Courses are available throughout the year from 8.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m. usually Monday to Friday.
Small group courses
Small group courses have a maximum of 4 students to one teacher and offer a less expensive alternative to private courses. The lessons are from 9.30 a.m.– 12.30 p.m. every weekday. They are mainly designed for Intermediate level students who want to work on speaking skills.
Intensive English
30 to 35 hours per week. Designed for hard working people who want to maximize their time and need rapid improvement in English. The work is similar to that on the General English course but areas of work are covered in greater detail.
Business English
The lessons enable the student to communicate effectively and confidently at work. Skills covered include:
- writing reports, letters, faxes and e-mails
- presentation techniques
- telephone English
- negotiation and participation in meetings
- social language
Parent and Child Courses
We offer Parent and Child Classes for those visiting the U.K. for shorter periods. A parent can accompany their child / children to The Heart of England, stay together with a host family and attend classes for adults whilst their children are in specialist children’s classes. These classes are for 3 hours each morning (2 hours study and 1 hour play for the children). The parents are then free to visit the area in the afternoon and discover some of the fantastic excursion sites that we have in The Heart of England region. Both children and parents will be in classes of 4 people maximum divided by level and age. Children are fully supervised throughout the 3 hour lesson but always remain the responsibility of the accompanying parent at all other times. These classes run through June, July and August starting every Monday.
Prices: from £225 per person per week.
Discounts of 5% for 2 people booking together and attending the same class.
Summer Programme
Courses for 12 – 21 year olds
For this age group English must be fun. We work on teaching the children through building confidence in the language with drama, role play, communication games and competitions.

Daily schedule
Morning Tuition Programme 9.30 - 12.30 p.m. Monday to Friday
Afternoon Excursion 1.30 - 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday
Weekend one full day excursion included in the full package.
Aims of the programmes:
To increase confidence in spoken English and improve oral skills.
Lesson content:
The children will be taught through structured conversation, communication games and activities which enable them to pick up the language in a natural and relaxing environment.
Course dates:
June - August 2010
Conditions of participation:
Students will be aged 12 - 17 years of age. 17 year olds may also attend the adult courses if they prefer and are of a suitable level which is charged at £210 per week. A maximum of 15 students will be in any class.
Programmes are run in one week blocks. The minimum length of attendance is one week.
Course fees must be paid in advance. Students should also read the Terms and Conditions.
Price per week 
£160 per week for tuition only.
£250 per week for tuition and excursions.
£375 for the full package - tuition and activities and accommodation.
Airport transfers arranged if required. Complimentary for groups of 15 or more.
Activities
The children are escorted to sports, games and places of interest and entry fees are included in the fees paid unless otherwise stated.

Different activities are arranged each week with some repetition of activities such as swimming and tennis. Activities may be moved from one day to another depending on the weather.
